Big News: We’re Moving to Spain and Restoring an Abandoned Cortijo!

We’ve got some exciting news to share with you all – the McGlynn family is moving to Spain! After months of planning, we’ve taken the plunge and purchased a Cortijo (Spanish country house) in the heart of Almería, Andalusia. But here’s the twist: the Cortijo has been abandoned for over 20 years, and we’re about to bring it back to life!

This is just the beginning of a huge new chapter for us. In our first video, we’re announcing our big move to Spain, where we’ll be starting fresh on a 4-acre off-grid farm. Our goal is to restore the Cortijo, surrounded by olive groves and beautiful Spanish countryside, and create a new life centered around self-sufficiency and off-grid living.

The farm has been left untouched for decades, and we’re excited to share every step of the journey with you as we take on the renovation, the move, and the challenges of building a new life in rural Spain. We’ll be sharing all the details, from leaving the UK to our exciting new start in Andalusia.
