Hi, we’re the McGlynns, a UK family building a life off grid in Spain and beyond.
In 2024, we bought a long forgotten farm in rural Andalusia and began breathing life back into it, one termite eaten door, overgrown path and century old olive tree at a time.
We’re not just renovating a house. We’re restoring land, learning self sufficiency and redefining what home really means.
Because of Schengen visa limits, we can only stay 90 days out of every 180, so when we’re not on the farm, we’re exploring the world. Living on the road. Stretching our budget. Showing that freedom doesn’t have to be expensive.
