Why Choose Callistemon for Hedging?
Known for their vibrant brush-like flowers and resilience, Callistemon (or bottlebrush plants) make fantastic hedges. They grow quickly, provide excellent coverage, and attract pollinators like bees and hummingbirds.

Preparing Rocky Soil for Planting
Our mountainous land posed a challenge with its many large stones. To give our Callistemon the best start, we:
- Removed large rocks: Cleared planting holes of stones to allow roots to spread.

- Enhanced nutrients: Added slow-release fertilizer to support growth.
Tip: Although slightly acidic to neutral soil is preferred, Callistemons can thrive in a range of soils—from sandy to clay—as long as it’s well-drained.
