Before we set off on our first motorhome road trip from the UK to Spain, we decided to enjoy one last adventure in the UK. We spent the day exploring the beautiful Castle Ashby Gardens, the historic home of the 7th Marquess of Northampton, soaking up the charm of the English countryside one last time before we hit the road.
What We Did:
- Explored the breathtaking grounds of Castle Ashby Gardens—a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature before the long journey ahead.
- Had fun trying pond dipping (we may not have caught much, but we sure made a mess!).
- Took in the last moments of our time in the UK countryside before we began our motorhome road trip to Spain.

As we embark on this exciting journey, we’re leaving behind the gardens of Castle Ashby for the open road and eventually to our new life in Spain. But for now, we’re focusing on the journey itself—our first-ever motorhome adventure from the UK, heading towards our future in the sun-soaked Spanish countryside.
