Our First Overnight Motorhome Adventure: New Forest, Wild Horses & Mottisfont!

We’ve officially hit the road! The McGlynn family’s first overnight trip in our new motorhome was nothing short of unforgettable. From celebrating a special 89th birthday to discovering the beauty of the New Forest and encountering wild horses and donkeys, this trip was full of excitement and new experiences.

Day 1: The New Forest Adventure We kicked things off by trekking through the picturesque New Forest—an enchanting place known for its stunning landscapes and wild animals. Along the way, we were lucky enough to encounter wild horses and donkeys, making for some fantastic memories. We also celebrated Great Uncle Pete’s 89th birthday, making this trip even more special.

Day 2: Mottisfont & Breakfast in Romford After a restful night in the motorhome, we enjoyed a hearty breakfast in Romford before heading out to explore the National Trust’s Mottisfont. This beautiful property, with its historic house and breathtaking gardens, was the perfect place to round out our adventure.

But that’s not all! Our motorhome’s MOT is coming up soon, and we’re eager to see if our eBay bargain passes the test. Stay tuned for our upcoming video where we’ll reveal the results and share more about our motorhome’s journey.
