Hi, we’re the McGlynns – a UK family navigating life off-grid in Spain… and beyond.

In 2024, we bought a forgotten farm in rural Andalusia — a place left to nature for decades. Since then, we’ve been breathing life back into it, one termite-eaten door, overgrown path, and 100-year-old olive tree at a time.

We’re not just renovating a house — we’re reviving the land, uncovering hidden fruit trees, and working toward a self-sufficient lifestyle grounded in nature.

But because of Schengen visa rules, we can only stay 90 out of every 180 days. So when we’re not on the farm, we’re exploring the world — living full-time on the road, stretching our budget further than we ever did in the UK, and showing that freedom doesn’t need to be expensive.
